Your skin is the reflection of what is going on inside your body, and all skin conditions are the manifestations of your body's internal needs, including its nutritional needs! Your skin is your largest eliminative organ and it receives some of the gases, liquids, and solids for elimination from inside.
Proper washing and dietary nourishment is an absolute requirement for lasting good looks. Anything you put on your skin, you are probably eating!

Some of the cells of the outer layer of your skin, the epidermis, slough off about once a week.
This is the end result of a process in which the cells move up from the bottom of the epidermis to the top approximately every four weeks and then take another two weeks before they are sloughed off.

WHAT IS INNER SKIN NUTRITION ?

Antioxidants:
  • Vitamin E help defend your cells against the oxidative stress caused by sunlight, pollution, and stress, which can all prematurely age the skin.
  •  Beta carotene (safe provitamin A) and carotenoids, such as lutein and lycopene, along with vitamins
          C and E, are all crucial for skin health. 
  • Lycopene, lutein, and beta carotene play a role in supporting healthy, glowing skin.
  • Inositol, as well as biotin and pantothenic acid, are fundamental to the growth of healthy skin, hair and nails.
Minerals:
  • Calcium plays a major role as antiallergic and anti-inflammatory agent. 
  • Silicon is essential and responsible for healthy hair and nails.
  • Copper play a role in protein structure, which can impact skin appearance.
  • Zinc plays a major role in the synthesis and metabolism of protein, promotes glandular and reproductive health, and assists with proper immune system function.  It is used in the treatment of acne, stretch marks, heavy metal toxicity, and for accelerating wound healing following injury or surgery. 
Grape seed extract contain powerful antioxidants, and according to a report from the Food Research Center in Guelph, Canada, OPCs in grape seed extract contain 20 times the antioxidant power of vitamin E and 50 times the antioxidant power of vitamin C. The report, published in the Winter 2003 issue of "Journal of Medicinal Food," states that grape seed extract can protect the body from sun damage. The sun can damage skin by causing wrinkles, pigment changes and skin cancer.
Omega 3 - is removing toxic fats and replace them with good ones. We need omega 3 every day. Omega-3 fatty acids help reduce the body's production of inflammatory compounds -- natural chemicals involved in the aging process, that affect how healthy the skin looks and feels.
Vitamin C is essential to life. Vitamin C is essential for synthesizing collagen, proteins that provide elasticity to our connectivetissues, and is also important for the maintenance of muscle, joint, and tendon function.

THE OUTER SKIN NUTRITION
The skin is your largest organ, what you put on it is absorbed into your bloodstream.
The average woman in the United States uses over 15 personal care products daily, the average man about six. Each product containing a dozen or more chemicals! Many of these chemicals are carcinogens, neurotoxins and contain reproductive toxins!
You pay attention to what you put in your mouth, so why not what you put on your skin?

There is increasing evidence that our personal care products — the soaps, shampoos, creams, toothpastes and deodorants we use each day — contain harmful chemicals.
What is a “preservative?”
Cosmetic preservatives are those chemicals added with no other function in the formula other than to keep the product from spoiling. Because many personal care products today are water-based, they provide an inviting medium for microbial growth unless precautions are taken. Spoilage occurs when bacteria, moulds, yeast or other microorganisms find their way into the product and spread unchecked.
Contamination of products can occur at two points: 
1) during manufacturing

2) during use by the consume

Elimination of toxins from the skin is achieved through sweating. Sweat stimulated by exercise, fever, environment (i.e. summer weather, saunas, steam room etc.) is a way for the body to rid itself of toxins which are stored in adipose or fat tissues. If elimination of any of the primary organs is not adequate, the skin is often the overflow route. Therefore assessing someone’s skin health gives information about all of the primary routes of elimination. 
The skin is a back up for the other elimination organs. If toxins overload your colon or your liver can’t efficiently filter impurities coming from the digestive tract, your skin tries to compensate by releasing toxins through the surface.
